Lia's first trip to the Bronx Zoo

It's been such a rainy June and it had rained the whole week, but cleared up for the weekend, so we took the kids to the zoo. Ian had been asking about the zoo and we thought it was about time we took Lia there. I think Ian was about the same age when we took him for the first time. As with Ian, she enjoyed seeing the wildlife that was running free more than the star attractions. We happened upon a mama duck and her little ducklings (there were 5 or 6) crossing the path to get to the popcorn vendor and Lia just loved the ducks.
