Words

As anyone who has met Lia already knows, she is extremely vocal and LOUD. She was saying a couple of words before we left for Taiwan and has recently added a few more. You have to know what she's saying, of course, but once you know, it's very clear. A couple of nights ago, we told her to say "thank you" and we heard a distinct "Ank oo!" And when she wanted more food (which she ALWAYS does these days), I told her to say "hai2 yao4" and she tried very hard and said, "Ayyy yow!" She's kind of growly when she talks, so it's really funny to hear.

Teacher Connie said she was scrunching up her face and growling at school and they figured it's because Ian is always pretending to be a dinosaur. That's exactly right. She imitates Ian imitating a dinosaur. Hee hee!
