Oh, she did not like it AT ALL. She wouldn't let me put her down, she wouldn't let the doctor touch her, and she SCREAMED when she got the shot. And she KEPT SCREAMING until I walked out of the doctor's office into the hallway. Then she stopped. That scream will shatter your eardrum in a small, enclosed space.
Anyway, her new stats are:
Weight: 21 lbs, 2 oz
Head circumference: 18 inches
She is still 95th percentile for height and 75th for weight. (Dr. S looked at her measurements and asked, "Who's tall in the family?" because it clearly wasn't me!) Dr. S had to remeasure Lia's head because the assistant measured it at 17.75 inches and apparently that quarter inch was the difference between sending Lia to see a neurologist or not. So thank goodness for that! Not that there's anything wrong with this girl. Everything is clear as a bell with her.
Another tooth started poking out on the bottom. And after watching cousin Dylan give besitos on Sunday, I think she got it and she gave me a kiss when I picked her up from school yesterday. She's like Ian. She kisses on the mouth. She gave me a nice big wet lick on the mouth. She can also stand without holding onto anything for a few seconds, usually when she is concentrating on something and forgets to hold on. I went to pick her up on Tuesday and she didn't want to go home. She was busy playing on the furniture at school. There's a spot the babies all like to stand. It's kind of like a little box, about an inch or two off the ground, maybe 12 inches by 12 inches. Next to it is a clear acrylic tube that is slightly angled upward. You can put a ball in and watch it roll or something, I guess. She likes to put her face in the end of the tube and look through it. I went and put my face on the other end and she thought that was hilarious.
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving weekend -- still have to catch up on this past week's pictures.
She LOVED the pumpkin soup that our friend Gary made:

And now she pretty much wants whatever we're eating, regardless of what it is. If she sees us eating something that she doesn't have, she starts to protest very loudly and reach a hand out for it.
Also, she still loves her Yu-an Yi best. She literally would not let her go for like 15 minutes. When Adam tried to take her, she screamed. Here she is snuggling with Yu-an Yi:
Mimi Yi gave Lia an Elmo/Cookie Monster ball that shakes and giggles. It was shaking and giggling in the wrapping paper and Lia didn't know quite what to make of it:
I think she enjoyed our trip to the Museum of Natural History the Sunday after Thanksgiving. She sat in the stroller for most of it and just kept looking around and around. In the dinosaur exhibit, she started squawking and I think many of the visitors were marveling at the realism of the display complete with baby dinosaur sounds.

She is growing so fast! She's now wearing 12-18 month clothes. And she is definitely a girl who knows what she wants and lets you know it!
