Cookie Monster

Jeff noted a while back that Lia is Cookie Monster. When she eats, crumbs fly everywhere and she makes noises like, "Mmmmmm...arhmmmmm." And in the end, the cookie is gone, but none of it actually made it into her stomach and there are cookie bits all over the floor, high chair, in her hair, on her clothes, etc.

For a while, she was also Chewbacca. With all that hair and the funny grunting/howling noise she would make just like Chewie, she was truly a baby Wookie.

She's the loudest baby in her classroom. All the other babies her age coo or giggle and are much quieter. She laughs out loud, a raucous laugh, or yells, "Oooooohhh, aaaaahhhhh" as she crawls around and plays.

And she's tough. Roslyn told me she was fighting with two of the older boys for lap space. Michael and Greg are both around 15-16 months old and walking and saying some words. They're much bigger than Lia. But Lia got in there and tried to fight for lap space. She is not going to be a wallflower, that's for sure!
