Lia's 2-month check-up

My mom and I took Lia for her 2-month check-up today. She'll be exactly 8 weeks old tomorrow. She now weighs 12 lbs, 6 oz (90th percentile) and measures 23 inches long (75th percentile). Head circumference is 15.5 inches (70th percentile). We all felt that she was heavier and there's the proof. She's been doing really well at night (usually sleeping a good 7 hours) and eating up to 6 oz at a time when we feed her formula, so it's no wonder she gained 2 lbs. Of course, she had a full diaper on at the time, so that may account for a few ounces. She was really quite patient, lying there in just her diaper, looking all around while we waited for the doctor. Poor girl got two shots today (DTaP and a combo Hib/HepB), one in each chubby thigh. The first shot went in and there was no reaction at all at first, then the lower lip pushed out and escalated into a scream. When the second shot went in, she was already screaming and just kept going. But as soon as I picked her up, she stopped. Such a good girl.
